Partnership with these two airlines will help to achieve the goal of the Onboard Traffic Alerts demonstration work package, which is to provide evidence, that the performance of real ADS-B position data is sufficient to support the function of onboard alerting technology. SWISS and GERMANIA airlines agreed to collect the real ADS-B data on their aircraft. Both airlines will collect the data on two aircraft for 40 weeks. End of the data collection is scheduled on December 2018.
